He was briefed on the efforts of the National Food Products Company, which is one of the largest companies in the region for food wholesale and related logistics, as well as the plans and operations of Al Tala Board Manufacturing Company, which operated the first factory. unique in the world to produce high quality wood panels by recycling palm waste through innovative technologies.
Dr. Jaber was accompanied by Mohammed Ali Al Shurafa, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development; Omar Ahmed Suwain Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technologies; Osama Amir Fadhel, Deputy Undersecretary for the Industrial Accelerators Sector; and Farah Ali Al Zarooni, Acting Deputy Undersecretary for the Standards and Regulations Sector at the Ministry; Abu Dhabi Ports Group Managing Director and CEO Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamsi and a number of officials from Kizad and companies operating there.
Dr. Jaber said that the ministry’s efforts and work are focused on implementing the directives of the UAE leadership to enhance the role of the industrial sector in the growth of the national economy.

The National Food Products Company (NFPC) is one of the most important businesses in Kizad. Al Tala Board Manufacturing Company is the first factory of its kind in the world to produce high quality wooden boards by collecting palm waste and recycling it locally. The company uses innovative technologies to develop and manufacture these products after obtaining its first patent, allowing it to produce 115,000 cubic meters of wooden planks annually. The factory covers an area of more than 50,000 square meters.
Hatem Farah, President of Al Tala Board Manufacturing Company, gave an overview of the company and its factory, which operates on an innovative and sustainable basis.
